What Do Chiropractors Treat?

I’ve created a few posts about different conditions that are treated by a chiropractor.  I thought that this would be a good place to keep track of those posts and put them all in one place for your convenience.  I’ll add to it as I continue to write posts.  So here they are a brief list of some of the conditions I have covered that are treated by chiropractors:

Carpal Tunnel or Double Crush Syndrome

Lumbar Disc Herniation

Migraine

Head Aches

Whiplash

Lumbar Facet Syndrome

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

Pregnancy (Wellness Care and Pregnancy Related Musculoskeletal Pains)

Rib Dysfunction

Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI)

De Quervain’s Syndrome

Rotator Cuff Strain

Sciatica

Vocal Performance Enhancement

First of all thank you for your interest in the topic of common chiropractic conditions. I would be happy to point you in the direction of the research you requested. The page that you posted on is a good start as in many of the conditions listed there have links to the efficacy of the treatments described. There are a few items that do not have such links and I would be happy to help you research the topics. Please reply to me with the specific topics that you are interested in so that I can help you narrow your search.

Many diseases improve with chiropractic care, but chiropractic doesn’t “cure” anything.
Health is normal. If you’re not healthy, something is interfering with this normal state. The only thing that doctors of any type can do is to remove interferences that may be preventing your body from expressing your normal health or mask symptoms (pain) with drugs.

I especially enjoyed the posts on rib dysfunction, vocal enhancement and repetitive stress syndrome. So many people think that chiropractic is just for the symptomatic relief of neck and back pain .

These kinds of symptoms that you describe are the things that chiropractors work with every day. I cannot diagnose him over the internet, but would highly recommend that you set an appt with a local chiropractor for an evaluation at least. Good luck.
